Education and city in the English-language small-format texts: axiological approach

The present research deals with the study of linguoaxiological plan small-format texts in English-language educational discourse. empirical basis for analysis included one hundred presentation posted on websites British urban schools. hypothesis is that fully reflect value paradigm formed by contemporary society concerning secondary education infrastructure. At that, values are interpreted as axiological dominants, verbalized through a system linguistic markers. novelty approach to linguocultural due its integrated nature, involving progressive shift from level evaluative resources identification micro- and macroconcepts, followed subsequent systematization obtained data at relevant dominants associated minds sector context environment. According analysis, absolute dominant student’s “Success” broad sense academic performance, well ability apply later life skills course study. results can be used further development problematics other discursive areas.
